His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama today 20th of December 2017 granted Tamdin Wang (Hayagriva Initiation) at debate courtyard of Sera Jey Monastery. Thousands of devotees, monks and lay, attended the sacred Hayagriva Initiation organized efficiently by Sera Jey Monastery. Tea & Bread in the morning, lunch and Tsog offering were made to all devotee attendees.

Some backdrops at the 3rd International Conference on Vinaya at the auditorium venue of Sera Jey Tashi Choeling Centre, Sera Jey Monastic University, exhibition on monk’s robe and Buddhist monk’s begging bowl of different Buddhist traditions, a description session on the different tradition’s robes, and photo sessions.

The 3rd Day of the 3rd International Conference on Vinaya, 17 December 2017. Speakers from Srilanka gave presentation, and took questions from participants in the morning session till tea break. This was followed by deliberation on the prospects for the 4th International Conference on Vinaya by the monastery’s abbot with respective department heads and the organizing committee. The post lunch session saw the valedictory and other addresses.

The 2nd Day of the 3rd International Conference on Vinaya, 17 December 2017. Speakers from Taiwan, India, Bangladesh and India gave their presentation, and took questions from participants.

The 2nd Session of the 3rd International Conference on Vinaya was held in the post lunch session from 01.30 pm to 04.30 pm. The final third day of the Conference is preponed from 19 December to 18 December 2017.
