The Geshe Tsokhram Graduation Ceremony for the year 2019 was scheduled from 6th - 8th of March 2019. Twelve pupils will be receiving their Geshe Tsokhram title during this three day graduation ceremony.

The Tamdin Phurjel blessing ceremony (Hayagriva Ritual Dagger) was held today on 1st February 2019. The most sacred relic of Sera Jey Monastery is brought out once in a year on the 24th day of the last Tibetan Calendar month, to bless devotees and all sentient beings. Scores of devotees come to receive the blessings of this sacred relic.

Sera Jey Modern Education Department organized a special session to school students from Ladhak Public School and others on 24rd January 2019. They were given talks on vital topics - "Importance of Compassion" and "Practice of Compassion" with powerpoint presentation. Lunch was served after the program. The students were on a Education Tour to South India.

The prize award ceremony at the Summer Memorization Examination toppers was held today 20 January 2019 before the monk assembly during the last day of the annual Sangchoe Monlam Prayer Ceremony.

Sangchoe Monlam Prayer Ceremony, one of the major annual ceremonies of Sera Jey Monastery in commemoration of Jetsun Choekyi Gyaltsen, whose texts commentaries are study syllabus of Sera Jey. This year's Sangchoe Monlam Ceremony is scheduled from 14th - 20th January 2019.
