On 3rd October 2025, an educational tour visit from Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Education’s 2nd year BA & MA specialized program students and faculty, numbering 22, was hosted by the monastery’s Modern Education Department Head, Geshe Jampa Choewang and Translation Department. They were given an audience with the monastery’s abbot, and were introduced about the monastery’s curriculum, including observing the Debate sessions, tour visit to the Science Centre and meditation research lab, library and Sera Je Secondary School.

A four day long Special Lamrim Retreat was held at Sera Jey Tashi Choekhorling Centre, from 18 - 21 September 2025. The event was organized jointly by Choe Khor Sum Ling, Bangalore and Sera Jey Modern Education Department, specifically for foreign & Indian devotees.

Sera Jey Rigzod Chenmo, the digital library of Sera Jey Monastery, founded in 19 August 2015 marked its 10th Anniversary on 19 August 2025. The digital library, compiles texts from old Buddhist scripts and literatures into digital books. It is an open online library of books on Buddhist texts, teachings, including Audio files.

Under the organization of Sera Jey Modern Education Department, pupil monks from the English Translation Department were invited by Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram, DVK, Bangalore, for discourse on Buddhist philosophy & studies to their BA students, between 21 July - 8 August 2025. The topics of the lecture were The Four Noble Truths, The seven point Mind Training, The Noble Eight Fold Paths, Twelve Links of Dependent Origination, The Dharma Wheel, Meditation for Beginners, Guided Meditation, Mindfulness Meditation, The six perfections.
