The 10 daylong annual Hayagriva Retreat Ceremony, 17th - 28th March 2025, was concluded with a grand Hayariva Fire Puja on the morning of 29th March 2025. The Fire Puja was performed by the monastery’s Abbot and Hayagriva Ritual Master, with the participation of the Hayagriva Ritual Shrine members and in the presence of Chief Disciplinarian, Chant Master, tulkus, Geshes and member monks.

Sera Jey Monastery's annual Hayagriva Retreat ceremony has commenced from 17 March 2025, it will conclude on 27 March 2025. There will be Hayagriva Fire Puja and Tsog Offering ceremony on the final day of 27 May 2025.
The monastery has arranged special areas for lay devotees to observe and participate the retreat. Besides, Dharma talk by a scholar monk are arranged for the lay devotees in the post lunch session.

Sera Jey Monastery observed the Losar (Tibetan New Year) Ceremony on the first day of the new Tibetan Wood-Snake Year 2152, on the morning of 28 February 2025. Sweet rice, butter salted tea & cookies were served to the monk assembly.

The annual Guthor Ceremony of Sera Jey Monastery was held on 28th February 2025, the 29th day of the last Tibetan calendar month. The ceremony is a Tibetan Buddhist tradition annually held on the penultimate day of the closing year to remove all negative obstacles & ills for the coming new year.
