The 5th annual Summer School 2026 was inaugurated on 26th June 2026. The inauguration was attended by monastery’s Administrator and Head of Department of Sera Jey Monastery’s Modern Education Department, teachers, staffs and organizing committee of the fifth annual summer school.

This annual Summer School is part of Sera Jey Online School’s program, organized by Sera Jey Monastic Institute specially for children of Tibetan diaspora, to provide coaching in Tibetan language, speaking & writing and Introduction to Buddhist culture, values.

This year, there are 40 Tibetan children participating in the three-week long summer school, from 26th June to 16th July 2026. During the summer school the children will learn Tibetan language, reading and writing, Buddhist meditation, Introduction on Buddhist culture / values, Tibetan music, song / dance and instruments.
