Drukpa Tseshe at SJBBS 16July2018Sera Jey Bangalore Buddhist Society organized Dharma Ceremony on Drukpa Tseshi (Buddha's First Turning of the Dharma Wheel). Monks from Sera Jey Monastery presided and performed prayer and puja ceremonies. Devotees from different parts of Bangalore attended the dharma ceremony. Lunch was served to all devotees and attendees at the auspicious ceremony.

National Buddhist ConferenceSera Jey Monastery's Abbot with 20 monks attended the National Buddhist Conference at Bangalore on 14th July 2018. The two day conference was organized by Karnataka Bouddha Samaja. Buddhist masters and monks from different places in India have participated in the conference. Khen Rinpoche, monastery's abbot and other Buddhist masters inaugurated the conference and presented a short speech.

Katrin Jetren Scholarship 2018Sera Jey Monastery's annual Kadrin Jedren Higher Education Scholarship for the academic year 2018-19 was announced and awarded during the settlement's official 83rd Birthday Celebration Ceremony. A total of 19 needy Tibetan students received scholarship for the academic year 2018-19.

Sera Jey Monastery has organized this annual scholarship to needy Tibetan students for pursuing their higher education, in gratitude to His Holiness The Dalai Lama's immeasurable kindness.

Trunga at SJM 2018Sera Jey Monastery celebrated the 83rd Birthday of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama on 6th July 2018. The celebration was held at 5.00 am in the morning with the lighting of Butter Lamp by the monastery's Abbot, Disciplinarian (Dean) and the Chant Master, Mendel Offering to His Holiness enthroned portrait and followed by all respective Department and Khangtsen heads of the monastery.

FURHHDL Interfaith 2018The Buddhism Session of FURHHDL's (Foundation For Universal Responsibility of His Holiness The Dalai Lama) 14th Interfaith Dialogue & Pilgrimage was held on 4th & 5th of July 2018 at Sera Jey Yiga Choeling Center. A total of 18 youths from different backgrounds and two officials participated in the two day session.
