The 2nd, 4th & 6th Semester Examination of academic year 2025 – 26, for BA Hons. specialized program under University of Mysore, in Ancient Buddhist Philosophy, Ancient Psychology & Ancient Tibetan Language, has commenced from 5th May 2026 at Sera Jey Monastic Institute. The exam will run up to 15th May 2026. The Chief Disciplinarian of Sera Jey Monastic Institute paid a visit during the examination held on 6th May 2026.

The 3rd Summer School for Monpa school students from Arunachal Pradesh is organized at Sera Jey Tashi Choeling Centre, from 22nd April 2026 – 13 May 2026. Fifty Monpa students from different schools of Arunachal Pradesh state are participating in this three week long Summer School. This annual summer school is being organized and sponsored by Sera Jey Monastery as part of its social educational programs and towards preservation and promotion of the Tibetan language and Buddhist culture.
The students learn Tibetan language and hand writing, besides Tibetan Buddhism, culture. The students are taken for tour of different monasteries and school tours in the two settlements of Bylakuppe.

Felicitation Ceremony for the graduates of NIOS Secondary & Senior Secondary, from NIOS Study Centre - Sera Jey Monastic Institute, was held on 22nd April 2026. Sera Jey Monastic Institute’s Administrator and Head of Sera Jey Modern Education Department, were the Guest of Honour. Candidates from Sera Jey, Sera Mey, Tashi Lhunpo & Namdroling Monastery were felicitated during the ceremony.
