The Third Dhamcha Offering Ceremony as part of the Ghoton Ceremony, 90th Birth Anniversary of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama, jointly by Sera Thekchenling Lachi, Sera Jey and Sera Mey Monastery, was held at Sera Jey Monastery on the evening of 24 October 2025. The ceremony was commenced with the portrait procession of His Holiness, led by H.E. Sharpa Choeje - Jetsun Ngawang Jorden, Sera Jey Monastery’s Abbot & former Abbot, Representative of Sera Mey Monastery’s Abbot, Disciplinarian & Chant Master of Sera Lachi, Sera Jey & Sera Mey, in the presence of Tulkus & senior Geshes, including Philosophical text teachers, Geshes and pupil monks of Sera Jey & Sera Mey Monastery.

On the afternoon of 18 October 2025, Sera Jey Monastic Institute organized a Panel Discussion of the respective recipients of Sera Jey Honorary Award, Khube Rinpoche, founder and director Karuna Home for the Disabled, Bylakuppe, Geshe Tsewang Dorjee, President of Ngari Institute, Leh Ladhak, Geshe Sonam Wangchen, founder and Program Coordinator of Hope and Challenge NGO, Nepal and Mr. Lobsang Phuntsok, Jhamtse Gatsal Children's Community, Tawang District, Arunachal Pradesh. Ven. Jamyang Lobsang, founder & director of Tong-len Charitable Trust - Dharamsala, was not able to participate due to pre-scheduled commitments.
It was a very lively and interactive discussion with question and answer session before the presence of the monastery’s Abbot, Disciplinarian, Chant Master, Administrator and monk audience.
