Trungkar Duchen: The 86th Birthday Celebration Ceremony of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso was conducted at Sera Jey Monastery in the morning of 6 July 2021. The monastery’s abbot, Khen Rinpoche, Chief Disciplinarian, Chant Master & Administrator offered Mandala and scarf to the Portrait of His Holiness, followed by scarf offering by Administration Members, Council Members and Heads of respective Departments / Khangtsens offered scarves.
The cake cutting celebration ceremony and tea / sweet rice offering service was followed next.
