Lharam Geshe Graduation Ceremony for the year as per the curriculum scheduled falls from 22nd day of 11th Tibetan Calendar month - 8th January 2018.

It is the highest amongst the Geshe category, equivalent to Ph.D in Buddhist Philosophy, conferred to scholars who have successfully completed the six years of Gelukpa Monastic University examination on reaching the Karam stage.

Commemoration of Lama Tsong Khapa's Parinirvana is observed with offering prayers, butter lamps and lighting of the main temple, scheduled on 25th day of 10th Tibetan calendar month - 12th December 2017.

The winter Lingse Geshe (Guenling) Graduation Ceremony for the year, as per the curriculum schedule is from 21st day of 9th Tibetan Calendar month - 9th November, 2017.
This is the second graduation ceremony for the Geshe Lingse category, the first one scheduled for summer.

Lingse Geshe is one of the four categories of Geshe, a scholastic title conferred to a member monk on qualifying after completing the course curriculum.

The Debate Examination for the year 2017 as per the curriculum schedule falls on 5th day of 9th Tibetan Calendar month - 24th October 2017.

Debate is one of the most important amongst the three different examinations. Every individual pupil take turns to challenge on a particular topic randomly selected and defend another’s challenge in their respective class.
